Natural Gault

Welcome to our natural gault section

As part of our education and outreach, we are building this new section so our visitors can learn all about the plants and animals that inhabit the Gault Site. We are still working on this section but we hope you enjoy these pages. Don't forget, you must schedule a tour if you want to visit the Gault Site.

This section is an expansion of the Natural Gault blog started by our own Dr. Steve Howard. During his tenure supervising excavations in Area 15, Dr. Howard spent time photographing and cataloging the flora and fauna at the Gault Site and posted it to his blog Natural Gault. The information he collected is now available here so all of our visitors can learn about the natural wonders of Gault.

In Steve's own words:

"Natural Gault is dedicated to the wealth of biodiversiry found at the Gault Site near Florence, Texas"

Dr. Steve Howard
